[1000mp] Question to those using the INRAD Roofing filter

I use a Mark-V (with the INRAD hiss reduction mod) in a dense urban environment
where I often must use the noise blanker (streetlights, furnaces, fish
tanks..).  The blanker adds its own crud to the signals and reduces the ability
to hear the weak ones (those below the strength of the noise).
Will the narrower bandwidth of the roofing filter provide an improvement under
these conditions?
