"Where are the instructions that tells you to zero it with WWV and how to
do it? This is the first time I have heard that. Even the original TCXO
that came with my Mark V has 10,48576 MHz on it. If I zero'd it to WWV I
assume I would be tuning it to an even 10 MHz. Wouldn't that throw
something else off?"

Although the service manual may give a different procedure, the way I set
my TCXO was to adjust the trimmer (accessible through a small hole in the
TCXO's case) so that when 10 MHz WWV was tuned in to zero beat, the MP's
frequency readout was 10.000.00.

I made that adjustment 6 years ago, and the dial (freq readout) accuracy
is still right on.
