That would be a bad for any amp, not just the AL-1500.  The only rig that
I know of that has that problem is the IC-775DSP before S/N????.  Icom
finally fixed the problem on the later 775s.

I doubt that the MK V and Field are any different than the original MP,
which does not have that problem.
