Never had any such problems with my combo Mark V and Alpha 91b.
The only thing is that Class A operation (even if you decrease the output
power to about 25 Watt) can strain the PA-unit of the Mark V due to
excessive heat!! So be very careful when you use Class A in combination with
a linear.
