[1000mp] display issue on mark v is funky

I have had mine a couple years and never noticed it.  In fact, I just turned
it on and the display was up with a couple seconds.  Ever when it was idle
and not used for a few months did I notice it.  I notice others are having
the same thing as you, so maybe mine is the one messed up.
