I have compared the INRAD "keying improvement mod" with the W8JI key
click mod in my FT-1000MP (vintage 1998).

The INRAD mod reduces the clicks to +/-800 Hz and the W8JI mod reduces
the clicks to +/-300 Hz.

Without any mod, my MP's clicks were +/-2100 Hz.
