The only part I replaced was the TR relay. This is RL6016 on the
LPF Unit. Yaesu Part Number M1190005 and the manufacturer's
part number is Matsushita AE5343 DC12V. This board is located
UNDER the 100W-PA unit and requires the removal of the fan as
well as the PA for access. It is relatively easy to change with the right
soldering iron and solder-wick, although there are two blank pins that
are soldered to unused pads and are fragile. It is a little more difficult
to remove the relay because of these two pads--but if you are willing
to sacrifice them it is not much of a problem. Blank pads with no traces,
on a single-sided board, have no heat-sinking from a trace and
no plate-through to hold them in place when heated.

The repair did not require unplugging any cables so there was no
issue about getting it all back together. But one group of wires that
is taped in place requires that they be untaped in order to move the
module out of the way enough to get to the LPF Filter unit.

I purchased some other generic parts just in case--like relay driver
transistors, and a couple of filter relays, but didn't need any of them.
The TR relay is double the price of the other relays on this board
at $13.62. Of course this relay really gets a workout compared to
all of the other relays, especially in full break-in CW.
