[1000mp] Bad Antenna Relay?

In my case, I have never observed a TX glitch as you describe. Had I done
so, it would have flagged the coax connector, as I have encountered such
problems before with H/T's.
My suspicion has always been an inadequate relay and, as I said, Yaesu did
replace one. But I do not recall receiving a list of reference designators
of replaced parts--just the bag of parts. So I never knew which relay had
been replaced.

Perhaps... I was getting an "hi-SWR" message occasionally...Press the ptt
and all OK again..
On RX, it varied from no RX, to low sig strength to (mostly) perfectly
OK..When it did go quiet, I'd just hit the PTT again, and all would be
fine...'till the next time..
I kept blaming bad antenna connections, bad coax links etc..
