I recently sent my MP back to Yaesu because of low power out. I had 25 watts
out on 10 and it rose to 75 on 160. Yaesu received the radio on a Monday and
called me Wednesday stating it was done. Total round trip less than three
weeks. they replaced some driver transistors and other switching parts. The
rig has been FB since return. My rig is circa 1995 so one trip in almost 8
years seems acceptable. Unless you have good Surface Mount skills I'd leave
it to the pros.
