Hi Jaakko,
Your English is excellent and much much better than I can speak or write any foreign language. My problem is in interpreting the tables on your website. There are three variables, NB on or off, NB setting, no mod vs mod. It isn't clear to me what those settings are for each column in your tables.
For instance, for the third column in your first table, the NB setting is 15 and there no mod but is the NB on or off? Also, in the fourth column it isn't clear whether the NB is on or off.
In the second smaller table it doesn't say if the these data were obtained with or without the mod. Judging by what you said in your email, I assume it was taken without the mod. If I'm correct then your data shows that with no mod, you get 83.7 dB with the NB on and >82.1 with the NB off and set to 12 or below. This indicates that the mod only improves things when the NB is off and then only with the NB set above 12. Right?
And we agree, leaving the NB on when not needed, but in the presence of strong signals where higher IMD is most beneficial, is not an option.
