Hi Lou,

Well I might say I like you answer the best although most say to run with
out the "BK-IN" button pushed. I have used my TS-2000 and my ICOM-775 full
QSK with the AL-1500 before and never had a problem and I'm sure it was one
of the features I look for before buying it, but can't seem to find that
information in print at this time. To complicate matters just a bit I will
be adding the FTV-1000 50 MHz Transverter which should be here early this
week. Looking in the MARK-V book I will be using the Band Data jack to
connect to the FTV-1000 to the MARK-V but I'm assuming there will be second
jack on the FTV-1000 for connection to the amp.

Thanks for your input,

Dennis AB8NI

> When you use the VOX button for CW you are operating semi break-in. There
is a also break-in button next to the CW speed control (under the second VFO
knob) that allows full QSK operation.

switch and use pin 2 of the Band Data jack for keying the amp and the TX
inhibit input (pin 8) to prevent the rig from transmitting if the amp is not
ready. Works FB.
