Set menu 1-6 to 5 and 8-2 to A=B. After this, any time you press
SPLIT, 2nd VFO will be 5 Khz up from 1st.

   But other problem still remains - when you've got DX with split,
you go to another who works without split and call him on wrong band
:-).
