I suspect that this one, or its converse, is responsible for about half the
times you hear guys transmitting on the DX's frequency when they mean to be
split. Took me a long time to remember to look hard at the red light next
to the second VFO to be sure I was transmitting on it and not the main
one. And of course these were the times I'd used the 2nd VFO on receive to
pick the perfect transmit frequency.
