I am planning on rebuilding my tower system back to its former height here.
I wanted to see if anybody on this list is using the Glen Martin hazer
system and if so what they think of it. On this tower I plan on installing a
3 el 20 meter mono and a 5 el 15 meter mono ( with a much improved guying
system). I used to have a 90 ft tower 25 g with a cushcraft a3 and a 6 el 6
meter yagi on it. several years ago we had a big wind storm with gusts to 75
mph and two of the aircraft cable guys actually snapped clean needless to
say I was surprised to see the tower still standing after that. Anyway I did
check the eham site but there is only a couple of reviews on this system
there. I was impressed with talking with the Glen Martin people on the
telephone they actually had honest answers to my questions and when the
sales person had to check with engineering he actually called me back with
full details.
Any info appreciated and sorry for the OT post
