Hi Earl, just a short note to ask if you are testing the ft1000d/ft1000mp
receivers for minimum descernable signal reception with no strong sigs
present near the wanted sig, or with contest type conditions -- ie strong
sigs present near the wanted sig.
After seeing some views on the reflector and other related ft1000 sites it
strikes me that the elecraft k2 is the best receiver around at the moment
followed closely by the ft1000 series of rigs.

Look forward to your reply Earl, de Graeme, G4CKH, Ft1000mpdc owner

PS. I guess that your station is in a pretty good location, ie not to much
locally generated man made noise. In surburban UK the results I think you
are acheiving would not be possible due to high levels of man made
noise ----- tv's, vidios, alarms, etc.

Subject: [1000mp] FT-1000D A/B Test Results

>Today Bill, W6FW (DXCC standing 335/373) brought his 1991 vintage
