A friend off my have the following rare problem with his ft1000mp MK-V.
here it is....
Hi Marc,
Here is a list of frequencies where I hear the 'clicks' when I tune slowly
over the bands in USB or LSB
but only with antenna connected !
In the technical Overview brochure I read page 18" The 40.96 khz clock pulse
for sampling
is obtained by dividing the 10.48576 mhz master rference oscillator by
256,resulting in a very stable clock signal"
On every second harmonic frequency of 40.96x2=81.92 I hear "Blubs"
EDSO : a 10.24khz digital If siganl is aplied.10.24kzh x8 = 81.92khz
He checked with other MK-V's and they don't have it he told me.So to make a
long story sort
starting from 81.92 khz + he heard some blubs or clicks in his receiver .
someone could give some help what is happening .My gess this is not normal
!!
