Dear Ron:
Please do NOT hold your breath while waiting for Yaseu to respond to this
matter. I have been reading postings to this reflector for more than 3 years
about the 'display delay' and am led to believe it was old news when I first
saw it. They have already collected their money for the product and I
suspect that they may feel additional support engineering expenditures would
be a waste of their money.
Since it is not a personal safety issue and the national news media are not
likely to cover this in a way to evoke sympathy for us and condemnation for
the manufacturer -- I fear it does not meet test of 'manufacturer recall'.
If I was one of the people considering investing in one of their NEW whiz
bangs, I sure would be discussing 'display delay' with the dealer who is
hoping to get my money.
