[1000mp] delayed display turn on

The post referenced below was mine and after I made the "mod" I still 
had the infrequent slow-starting display.  I'm not familiar with their 
internal make-ups, but it seems the thermal fuse has nothing to do with 
the slow speed of start up - it's a go/no-go effect (when it popped I 
had NO display).

It IS a thermal fuse, by the way, and not some kind of NTC device as 
had be proffered.  It's marked (as my post said) with a current rating 
(2A) and a temperature rating (102C) and is also designated "TF" on the 
PC board (which can be misleading, I know).

I would like to find the dang defect that causes the slow turn on - 
just to "kill" it.  Lots of other fish to fry however.  ;-)
