[1000mp] Ten-Tec Orion - Roofing filter

I've followed the discussion of the Orion - very interesting.  The current
QST has a two -page advertisement which described the filtering.  I started
thinking about the possibility of putting a selectable roofing filter, a la
Sherwood, in the Mark V.  At the expense of sounding dumb, is this possible?

I have a Drake R4C in which I installed the Sherwood mods, including the 600
hz first IF.  This works great.  I rarely use the second IF filter (but I do
use a Timewave DSP-599zx).  I've read that the first IF filter is very wide.
International Crystal has a board to add selectable 2nd (and maybe third) IF
filters.  So, would it be possible to create a switching board like Rob
Sherwoods, to select various roofing filters?  Tom W6EIJ
