Hello Bill,
You have to be very careful with setting menu 9-1 with the Inrad mod.
Default in my Mk V was 13.
Setting 11 is the optimum in my case.
When I use a lower setting there is a noticeable distortion coming up,
especially with strong signals. Be aware of this! One thinks perhaps that
lower settings give a better Signal to Noise Radio, but this is not the
case.
So listen carefully or use an oscilloscope on the AF OUT when you adjust the
setting of menu 9-1.
If you want I will be happy to send you an MS Excel spreadsheet with my
settings.
