If you choose to ignore the problem and not clean up your rig's clicks to
the best extent possible, that's your prerogative, but I see at least two
good reasons why you should strive to have a clean CW signal:

1) To maintain peace with your fellow hams.

2) To comply with FCC Rule 97.307(b), which reads in part: "Emissions
outside the necessary bandwidth must not cause splatter or key-click
interference to operations on adjacent frequencies."
