Is this correct? Seems to me that if the suppressed carrier frequency of
the test RX is 700 Hz off the Field's frequency, and the test RX has good,
cascaded 400 hz filters, for example, then its response will be only down ~
6 dB (at a guess) at 300 Hz away from the Field. That doesn't sound to me
like a very good test.
Doesn't the speed of the keyed CW also enter into this?
I've read that a spectrum analyzer isn't a good tool for this assessment,
but don't understand why it wouldn't be better that using a second RX.
