I doubt that Yaesu will ever acknowledge the problem, but I wouldn't let
that stop you from buying a Mk5 if you are so inclined, because the mod
to fix the clicks is fairly easy to do.

Ten-Tec says that the Orion's CW waveform rise and fall times are
adjustable from 3 to 10 msec in a user menu.  If that's true, you
shouldn't have to worry about clicks from the Orion.

If Ten-Tec ever starts shipping the Orion (I have one ordered), I'll post
my opinions about it on this list.
