When a radio has two VFOs, there's no reason whatsoever to have RIT.  As
a CW contester who uses very narrow filters, I find it much easier to
operate in split mode, transmitting on a fixed frequency set by my sub
VFO, and search on the main VFO for those off-frequency callers who don't
seem to know how to zero beat.  This is far better than using the RIT.
