Modifying a brand new radio to make it "right" can be frustrating, but =
it will make the 1000MP sound even better.  Right now, it's the best =
sounding radio on CW outside of Ten Tec.  I'm amazed at the number of =
chirps and backwave I hear from the high end Kenwoods.  I'd much rather =
have a slight "click" than chirps or backwave!
