Glad that fixed your problem, but the one I experienced before and now never
showed TX (SWR) symptoms. The other correspondents did not mention that
condition, either.

Of interest to me is that Yaesu's repair efforts in 1999 appeared to
mitigate the problem for about two to three years, at which time it
gradually reappeared. It may be that some circuit condition induces a soft
failure in the same rela, after a period of time.

It would have been useful to know exactly which components Yaesu replaced,
but, as has been pointed out on this reflector, you get back anonymous
parts--no reference designators.
