That is great turn around for non warranty work. My experience with yaesu
service for warranty work has been a total of 10 days between shipment to
and receipt from yaesu. Telephone calls result in a quick connection to
someone in customer service who is always very polite.
I have even had service techs call me back to answer any questions I might
have had.Back in the early FT100 days
I had sent in one for repairs and was concerned it would not make it back in
time for field day. I was asked if I would like a radio to use for field
day, that's customer service. I sure can not say that about the other big 2
.
You know I often wonder when I read some of the product reviews on eham.net
about yaesu service being so poor if maybe some of the guys don't get
ignorant with the service rep or throw a tantrum.
