[1000mp] PC Control - Serial to USB converters

I have used both the Black Box and the Beldon USB ports with several computers
running WIN 98, ME, XP and both the FT1000MP and little FT100D.  By looking
around flea markets and at Dayton, paid less than $20 each.  eBay has quite a
few at similar prices.  You may want to check out a local used PC store that
does laptop trade-ins - never know what they may have.  If your city has a
recycled computer depot, try them too.  Currently using one on a desktop as the
ancient serial card didn't work when I upgraded systems.  GL  73, George VE3YV /
