[1000mp] 1000MP faceplate price

Hi all
I have a question .....Has anyone out here bought a front faceplate for the
original 1000MP from Yaesu parts recently ??  I have a friend that told me
the just the plastic front face with the glued in lens was... get this 275
dollars... I said no way , had to be a big mistake.... I have bought them
for Kenwood and others brands ....most run about 50 dollars for the plastic
one and 100 or so for the metal faceplates .....Anyone out here bought one
for the MP & what was the price
