[1000mp] FL7000 and FT1000 MP MARK V

Hello Gents !

I do have a FL7000 here and wanted to get it connected to the MARK V !
Everything working fine and I do get aprox. 500W from the amp on all =
bands !



One little question:
Both manuals (MP and FL) tell me:
You only have to connect the band data cable and the ALC line and =
everything will be fine !

So I did.=20
And ???

No PTT happened to the FL when pushing the mike of the MP !

All other things fine besides the PTT of the FL !

When I connected the PTT line of the FL to the TX ground connector of my =
MP everything is OK !


Is this a mistake in the manuals or could this be:

Checking all connectors I found out, that two little cables are not =
connected to the white connector that goes into the FL7000 !
I do have connected:
orange(9), yellow(3),blue(5), red(2),white(7), green(4) and brown(1).
Black and grey are not connected and the contacts which are not used are =
6 and 8 !

Could that be the reason why it doesn=B4t get PTT through the band data =
cable ?
