Thats absolut correct.

I am using the MD-100 with my MKV and get the
Best results with the following settings:
MD-100 Filter selection all off and switch to "thru".

MKV Menu Settings:
1. 4-4 ON!
2. 5-9 6.0
3. 7-7 200-3100 (for local 40m/80m) for DX OFF!
4. 8-9 Proc usb/lsb carrier -0.150 (for 40/80) -0.100 for DX!

Always leave the processor on an adjust it for 40/80 only around
11'clock
(just find the point where the processors kicks in...not more)
And for DX processor on maxium.

Thats it.

I am using my MKV since over 2 years and get absolut great audio
reports.
Depending on your natural voice the seetings may vary a little bit.

Good luck and hope to meet you on the air!
