[1000mp] if mod installed

Thanks to all for replies.
The first impression after installing the IFmod was there iw more noise when
turning to 10 meters.
After reducing the 91 menu setting by 2 clicks, this was better.
But when setting 'tuned' my S meter always displays s4 to s5 without signals
?
If this preamp makes it go up like this, I am kinda sceptic if this improves
the noise floor and receives better signals.
So for the time being, I downclicked the IF by two clicks (menu 91) and use
'flat' for all bands.
Pherhaps in the near future I can experiment with flat/tuned on 10 when
making QSO's.
Thanks again ...
