[1000mp] Serial numbers MarkV Field

Friends,
It seems that the way  Yaesu is  using serial numbers on The Mark V Field
is different from the original MP.

Can please someone explain the composition of the following serial number ??

2C 10140

I know that the rig was manufactured in March 2002 but what is the actual
serial number?
Also it would be very interesting to find out how many rigs were produced
since the release of  the MarkV Field ???  Any guess ? Anyone with the
serial of a recently purchased Field ?
