Dear Philippe et. al,
The standard filter for the sub receiver is the YF-115C, which is a 500
Hz filter at 455 Khz IF. 8215 Khz IF filters for the main receiver 2nd IF
will not work at 455 Khz in either the main or sub receiver.
The YF-115C will work in the 3rd IF of the main receiver as well as in
the sub receiver, but I use an Inrad 400 Hz filter in the 455 Khz IF for CW.
One gets much better rejection of signals off the sides or skirts of the
filters with a filter in the 455 khz IF as well as the 2nd IF. So, the
overall received bandwidth is narrower.
