[1000mp] FT1000MP MV Field - Noise Blanker

I am enjoying the new radio very much in many aspects. To me a weak point on
the 1000MP MV Field is the noise blanker.

Manual says that one can set A1-15 or B1-15 (menu settings) for different
types of pulse noise.

Gosh, I have no results from A1-15 and from B1-12. It only starts to be
effective from B13 to B15. However the "useful" signal gets distorted by the
pulse noise. Nearby signals "modulate" the rx signal as well.

I have compared it to my TS850S and the 850S' NB is a lot more "transparent"
than the 1000's NB. This means that the MP does whip out the pulse noise
(using B13, B14 or B15), but deteriorates considerably the useful signal.

Any work around or comments ?
