[1000mp] Mk V ALC not working...

Hi from Italy,
    just two weeks before CQWW, we have a problem with our FT1000MP Mk V,
thanks a lot Murphy! :-(
With only few degrees of RF Power regulation we have from 0 to 250W (yes,
250W!) without any indication of the rig's wattmeter or swr-meter.
It is clear that also the ALC is not working and it seems to me that there
is something broken in the power/swr circuit, diodes or transformer bridge.
You have any other suggestion and/or similar experience, before I
disassemble the rig and check the power/swr circuit?
