George - last night I tried that, and you are right - at least for 80
meters - the S meter registered fine, and there was a bit more gain.

BTW, I checked, I think menu item 9-2, and it was set to 12.  One person
posted that they had theirs set to 11, and after the Inrad mod, they put it
down to 9.  Tom W6EIJ
