Hello Joe,

This really is an excellent idea!

I hope this would be possible. Unfortunately I don't have any inside
contacts, but I'm willing to give it a try at Yaesu Europe which is very
near to my home QTH.

Keep you informed.

By all means the 1000 Hz Inrad filter is a very good choice, anyway.
