Hans & Bill,
I agree with both of you that the choices of 2.4, 2.0, 250H or 500H
for RTTY is rather absurd of Yaesu, particularly when 2.0, 500H, 250H
is available for CW. Seems to be a real oversight in the firmware.
I wonder if anyone has an "inside" contact to find out if it is
possible to "fix" the problem. I would consider giving up use of
Nar2 in SSB and replacing 2.0 Khz filters with Inrad's 1.0 KHz
filters for CW and digital operation ... if I could actually use
the filters without resorting to external computer control.
