Yes, some of the earlier MP's did have an issue with this.

There a fairly simple cure ... involves a jumper wire
and cutting a trace as I recall. I have the details here
in a older email as I recall, if the archives don't have it.

You might also consider adding the INRAD IF mod, and
the key click solutions while the rig is opened up there ...
