[1000mp] Need help - Rx has gone deaf !!

Thanks to Tom's posting relating to a stuck relay in the atu circuitry I
have just had another play on the rig working the atu across every band and
lo and behold I am getting signals - not strong enough to register on the
signal strength meter and the "white noise" is still very present.

I am not sure what the service center is like in the UK, correct me if I am
wrong but are all Yaesu repairs carried out at Castle electronics ? Perhaps
someone could email me offlist.  Or do the "usual suspects" carry out
repairs on their own premises

Thinking now of Waters and Stanton, Lynch and Nevada.
