[1000mp] MkV Amp interfacing questions

MPers,

TKS to all who answered my question regarding the Band Data plug.  I went back through some of the archives and did find
a number of posts regarding the connector type and possible sources (The RF Connection, Yaesu, Kenwood).

I also did a search on the web and it appears that Kenwood uses these on some of their aftermarket automotive stereo
equipment so it may be possible to find them locally at car stereo dealers. I haven't yet found them at electronic
distributors like Mouser, Newark, Jameco, or (the much maligned) Radio Shack.

Anybody know anything about using pin 8 for TX inhibit?
