[1000mp] MkV Amp interfacing questions

The Band Data jack does not seem to be the typical 8 pin DIN connector.  Does anybody know the type designation and
where I can get the proper mating plug?

The manual states (page 12) that pin 8 of the Band Data jack can be used as a TX Inhibit control and must be pulled low
to enable the MkV.  Nothing currently pulls this line low so it would appear it must first be pulled high to disable TX,
perhaps with a resistor of a few K from the 13V on pin 1.  Correct?
