Yes, you can retransmit an off air recording.  I'm
not at home right now to check my menu settings but
I think that there is a DVS/PTT menu choice.  I
think you can hit the DVS play button while holding
in the mic's PTT button also.  All though I like my
DVS for replaying something that I have missed
through the speaker, I don't think the recorded
frequency response is good enough to retransmit for
someone to get a good idea as to how they sound on
the air.

Am I lost?

I bought a DVS-2 used for my MP M-V and one of the things I wanted to
do was have the ability of recording what I hear on air, and
retransmit it. It helps when one hears themselves so they can work at
their mic settings etc.

Well, it seems the DVS2 can record on air and replay off air, or I can
record something on the mic and play that on air, but can find no way
to play what I record on air back on air. Am I missing something?
