[1000mp] In praise of a pre-VS Yaesu product

Gentlemen,

A Quadra amplifier, purchased 11/1998, graces my shack - with its companion
exciter, an IC-756Pro, on a shelf above it.

The Quadra is still chugging along flawlessly after 3 1/2 years' service. Would
I purchase a Quadra now, after all the QA issues which have been raised with
VS/Yaesu?  I honestly do not have an answer to that question.
