Bill:
I do use TRX manager with my MkV. I think it's a great program. There are a
lot of features I have yet to use.

I did a swap Yaesu for Icom - but the Icom 746pro is really not a set
backward. In fact the rx performance (except for the slower bandscope and
no split headphone) is better (IMHO) then the 756proII in several ways. I
expected to get ANOTHER yaesue with my Yaesu trade in - but after visiting
several stores and several sales people, reading all the problems Yaesu
owners are having and trying it, BTW the 746pro is better(!) than the
756proII and I got a thousand dollars back! Hummm.....
Customer service is what Yaesu needs to understand. I can afford to have
two rigs and when 'Yaesu gets it' then I will buy another.
Thanks for the email

Thanks for your feedback and comparison information Ken, very much
appreciated.
Hopefully Yaesu is listening up and will improve soon. Seems like every year
or two it is musical chairs as to which manufacture has the more reliable
gear (notice I didn't say better ...hi hi).
Japan is having serious financial problems, and it looks like some companies
are trying to cash in on their historical name sake, while making cuts and
compromises that save cost... unfortunately at the expense of the customers.
.... and that is not just in ham gear.

Hey John N1JM, thanks for your reply too. Nice to cross paths again! Have
you tried the TrxManage with your Mark yet?
