There are two types of tuning "ticks" heard:
1) The ones that occur every 81.92 kHz
2) The ones that occur at the band edges.
Also, when tuning across the band edges (into and out of the "GEN"
region), you may or may not hear an increase/decrease in background
noise. This is because the receiver is auto-switching preamps at that
frequency from the one you have set in menu item 8-4.
