This is normal behavior for all MPs and MK Vs.  It's a digital thing,
occurring every 81.92 kHz.  With the RX clarifier set to 0.00 (or OFF),
the lowest frequency one heard on the radio is at 163.84 kHz and the
highest one is at 29982.72 kHz.
