Exactly!  The protocol is:

1) If you deny the problem, then there is no problem.

2) If there is no problem, then you do not have to fix it.

3) If someone claims there is a problem, then you tell them that there
is no
record of a problem (because no one ever acknowledged it or wrote it
down).

4) Most people when treated in this manner, simply "go away".  Then
there is
no problem.

5) Repeat steps 1 - 4.

Sound familiar?
