The problem is that virtually every other list that most of us subscribe to 
defaults to replying only to the sender -- you have to hit reply all in 
order to reply to the list.  This is intuitive and perfectly simple.  This 
list, on the other hand, has NO provision for replying only to the 
individual unless you do it manually.  It's the list-owner's choice, and he 
has chosen to be odd man out.
